Hi, This is Cathy Roberts. My son Christian is 16 years old and has Down Syndrome. He goes to school in Jacksonville, Florida at North Florida School of Special Education. He is having some regression and significant anxiety in large groups. I am a Nurse Practitioner and starting him on Prozac 10mg per day. I am wondering if I may join your group and read your research to help him? I received your information from Lynn Sicoli.
First locate NuTriVene-Beginners Group on Facebook. From there, tag Julia Sheppard. She can add you to a special group for kids with regression. We have an excellent track record for reversing this in DS.
Prozac is an excellent option as it is a GIRK1/2 inhibitor – G protein. But for the best care for him, join TNI-Beginners Group on Facebook.
Need to get reconnected. Took TNI 1996-2006 or there about. Lost contact with Dr Leichman and all. My son has had many health problems last few years and I wonder if program could get us back to a healthy place.
